Shooting the pilot for our thriller has shown us a lot of things. Firstly: Our thriller is definitely a possible project, almost easy to shoot. However it also showed us how important Mise-en Scene is. How important it is that everything looks realistic, because without an accurate set of props, costume, makeup, lighting, sound and set the whole shocking and moving effect our thriller should create completely disappears.
Moreover shooting the pilot showed us that we really need to know what to shoot and how. We had a finished storyboard so it wasn't really hard. However our lack of planned dialogue kept us back a bit. So we need to write dialogue.
